So many things to squee and squeal about....could I possibly have enough time!?!?
Ok...quickyl...the RL stuff. I moved into my new house last night! YAY! I'd never seen the inside of it until then. Lol. Laney and my Mom had been there for a while but my bed was inaccessible.
One GGRRR note...we have a nice big screeen TV that was given to us but I couldn't figure out how to correctly hook up the VCR in the 15 minutes I had between waking up and JAG starting this morning so alas I was unable to record "In Country" and "The Promised Land" which of course were EXCELLENT. :\ But I at least got to see them which is better than not. I think I figured out the problem though. There's the regular cable that goes into the TV so we have cable..well goes in the VCR but we need this other plug to go from the TV to the VCR. At least that's how my old set-up was....anywhoselbees...I hope *fingers crossed* I can get it working tonight so I can get the JAGs tomorrow morning and all the mornings after.
Ok...now for the better stuff. The stuff we actually care about. :P
Moving on to the good subjects now.
Sara's Mom bought be Bones S2 today!!! AHHHH!!!! And since I'm lame the first thing I watched was the special features. I was good at first...and was going to watch them in the order they appeared on the menu but I really just wanted to get to the bloopers so I watched the "The Memories in the Season" and then the Deleted Scenes and then moved onto the Outtakes. Which, were HIGH-freaking-larious.
So I'm watching and I'm laughing...alot...but I'm trying to not laugh too loud because my Mom is home sick and in the bedroom and I don't want to bug her with my inane laughter. But then something happened that was completely unable to be hampered. I sqeed...no, SQUEALED louder and more fangirl-ishly than I have ever or probably will ever squeal in my entire life. If you've seen the reel..you know. You know what's coming.
David. And. Emily. Kissed. K-I-S-S-E-D. !!!!!!!.
Yes. Dead, dead, DEAD. I died.
I was so horrendously unprepared for it and quite frankly I'm surprised I don't have laryngitis after that. Or a brain aneurysm....Or both.
In about 3 hours...the time I was home....I saw that damn kiss 100 times. And when I leave the library...I am going to watch it 1,000,000 more times. Everyday of my life. Here on in....I am now a hermit....or an agoraphobe. I need nothing else in life...
Except maybe JAG S4. :(
One thing I'm actually noticing right this very second because I'm listening to the Bones S1 Outtakes is that not once in the S2 ones did Emily curse but she did in S1. Hmm. Ok, that was odd of me.
A while back my Mom had said something to me about her friend Doyle...he said that there was a gorgeous mustang in one of the episodes of Bones and my Mom was like, "I have to see that with you." I gave the ultimatum that if she wanted the car she had to watch the whole ep. Lol. Anywho....I asked her if she wanted to watch today and she said yeah but she wanted to watch the rest of Days of Our Lives and a bit of Tyra. And it's cool because I had the special features to watch. Well I finished those and man this is a giant ramble to get to my point...my point is...I ended up having time to watch both commentaries. There we go. And they were super good. The reason I specifically bring them up though is because one thing disappointed me a bit. I thought that when the DVD release information came out that it said that David, Emily and Emily's Dad were commentating on one together and then Hart, Barry and Stephen were commentating on one. Well...no David. :\ I was bummed because I love, love, LOVE, the D&E commentary on "Two Bodies in the Lab" so very much and was looking forward to hearing more. :\ But hey..we got bloopers and a KISS so I can't complain....ever again in my life.
Wow. That was about as ramble-y as it gets.
But I must be going now. I have many things to do. Unfortunately until I get a schedule going with when I can get to the library, my challenges are going to be a bit off for the time being.
All for now.
